Healing Hands

In 2017, as a part of the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation, a group of dōTERRA Wellness Advocates travelled to Rasnalu, Nepal. Working with the locals, our Australian Advocates assisted in the construction of a school and community centre which is central to livelihood of the 7,000 people living in the Rasnalu community. The earthquake resistant school provides a safe place where children can learn with access to education materials. The infrastructure also acts as a community hub, where the community can access medical supplies in the event of a natural disaster, which is not uncommon in this region.

Using dōTERRA essential oils in Australia supports local communities all over the globe, many of which are similar to those living in Rasnalu, Nepal. At Shantistar, we are proud to know dōTERRA essential oils provide a vital source of income for farmers in rural communities. We know that this income supports parents and allows more children to remain in school, which can break the cycle of poverty and improve prospects for hundreds of families worldwide.

The dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation is proud to support international not for profit Days For Girls.

Days for Girls

Days For Girls works to provide women and girls worldwide with access to sustainable and reusable feminine hygiene solutions. Whilst dōTERRA employees and Wellness Advocates regularly assemble hygiene kits for Days For Girls, John and Noel from Shantistar actually travelled to Nepal to deliver the kits assembled by local dōTERRA teams. Seeing the real difference education and sustainable hygiene solutions can make for women was eye opening. Along with the kits, women are educated to show how they can be agents of social change. They are taught that they have value and self-worth, and have the potential to break the cycle of poverty. The aim is for all women to have access to sustainable hygiene solutions and health education by 2022, and Shantistar is proud to support Days For Girls on this mission, through dōTERRA essential oils Australia.
