Roasted Nuts in Raw Chocolate Ginger Cups

These easy-to-make raw cups feature cacao, a superfood with many health benefits, one being that it is mainly used to increase levels of neurotransmitters that help to promote a sense of well-being. In other words, cacao is good for your brain. We’ve teamed this superfood with the popular dōTERRA ginger oil to create a cacao recipe the entire family will love.

Cups 

  • 1 Cup of Cacao Powder
  • 1 Cup of Cacao Butter
  • 1/3 Cup of Coconut Oil
  • Pinch of Pink Salt
  • 1/4 Cup of Maple Syrup
  • 6 Drops of dōTERRA Ginger Oil
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Paste
  • Tray of Patty tins

Nut Filling

  • 1 Cup of Pistachio Nuts          
  • 1 Cup of Activated Almonds
  • 1 Cup of Pepitas                      
  • 1/2 Cup of Goji Berries
  • 1/2 Cup of Desiccated Coconut             
  • 1/2 Cup of Honey

Method

Pre-roast all nuts and pepitas (except Goji’s), and put aside in a bowl to cool. Once cool, fry pan the nuts, Goji’s berries and the honey on a low heat, stirring through consistently and allowing it to bubble into a toffee.    

Chocolate cups

Melt cacao butter and coconut oil over a low heat. Once melted, add cacao powder, maple syrup, oil and salt in together, mixing well. Once combined, spoon 1-2 tablespoon into patty tins, then add a spoonful of nut mix on top into each patty and refrigerate.

If you have any extra chocolate…. Drizzle over the top before refrigerating!

Ginger cups

Raw Walnut Fudge

This easy-to-make raw walnut fudge will leave you wondering why you didn’t make more. Perfect for the kids, an afternoon snack or a desert without the guilt!

For the fudge base:

  • 2 cups Raw Organic Walnuts
  • 2 cups Unsweetened Organic Shredded Coconut
  • 10 large Very Soft Medjool Dates, Pitted
  • 1 cup Raw Organic Cacao Powder
  • ½ cup Organic Maple Syrup
  • Pinch of Himalayan Rock Salt
  • 2 drops of dōTERRA Cardamom oil

For the ganache:

  • 1/2 cup Organic Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Unrefined Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 cup Raw Organic Cacao Powder
  • Pinch of Himalayan Rock Saltf
  • 3 drops of dōTERRA Wild Orange oil
  • 1/4 cup of Raw Cacao Nibs for Topping

Method

For the base, simply blend all ingredients together and press into a greaseproof paper tray and refrigerate until set.

Then, melt the coconut oil in a pan on a low heat, then add in all remaining ingredients, mixing well. Once combined, spread the mixture over the top of the base and sprinkle with cacao nibs to garnish. Refrigerate the fudge until set, before serving.

Spiced Cacao Chai Balls with a Crunch

These spiced cacao balls are packed full of flavour and are easy to make. Your friends and family will be begging you for the recipe!

  • 5 Tbsp Coconut Oil     
  • 12 Medjool Dates – Pitted
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract     
  • Big Pinch of Himalayan Salt
  • 1 Heaped Cup of Activated Almonds   
  • 3 Tbsp Cacao powder      
  • 1 Tbsp Chia seeds             
  • 2 Tbsp Hemp seeds
  • 4 Drops of Cardamom        
  • 3 Drops of Ginger
  • 8 Drops of On Guard Blend        
  • 4 Drops of Fennel
  • 8 Drops of Black Pepper
  • dōTERRA Essential Oils
  • 1/2 Cup Cacao Nibs (mix through only)

Method

Blend almonds in a food processor to a rough texture. Once blended, combine almonds with the dates, seeds, salt, vanilla, cacao, coconut oil, and dōTERRA Essential Oils. Roll into balls and refrigerate.

Red Velvet Cardamom Truffles

Cacao powder is the perfect superfood ingredient to help add a chocolately-flavour to a recipe, without the calories or sugar! Team with dōTERRA Essential oil, almonds, dates and coconut and you’re left with one tasty truffle.

  • 1 small Beetroot peeled and quartered (parboiled)
  • 12 medjool dates (pitted)
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of Desiccated Coconut
  • 1/2 cup Almonds
  • 5 Tbsp Cacao powder
  • 4 drops Cardamom – 10 drops Wild Orange dōTERRA Essential Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
  • Pinch of Himalayan salt
  • 2- 3 Tbsp Maple syrup (or sweeter
  • Extra desiccated coconut (for rolling truffles in)

Method

Place all ingredients into your food processor or Thermomix and pulse on a high speed until the mixture is smooth, well combined and sticking together, and there is a beautiful red velvety texture.

Use your hands to shape the mixture into balls. Coat the balls with desiccated coconut and place in the fridge to set.

Beetroot Cardmom balls

Pure Rose Oil Cacao Moulds

These cacao moulds are easy to make and tasty – you’ll almost think it was the real chocolatey-deal.

  • 1 Cup of Cacao Butter      
  • 1 Cup of Cacao Powder
  • 1/3 Cup of Coconut Oil         
  • 1/4 Cup of Maple Syrup
  • Pinch of Himalayan Salt        
  • 1 Single drop of DōTERRA pure ROSE oil
  • 1 Tbsp Maca Powder

Method

Melt cacao butter and coconut oil in a double boiler and then mix in well the remaining ingredients to form a rich chocolate, pour into moulds and refrigerate.

Eat with reverence and an open heart.
